The Wedding of Lianne & Bobby
Venue: South Coast Winery, Temecula, CA
Wedding Colors: Blush, Burgundy, & Rose Gold
Most Memorable Moment: First Dance REMIX
Vibe: Simple, Romantic, Chic
Weddings in July in Temecula are NO JOKE. But the beauty of it all is that you probably wouldn't be able to tell that we were melting in the heat since Trynh Photo was able to make the photos look like we were next to the beach #goals. Lianne & Bobby chose to stay with a simple, yet elegant approach with their overall design. As you will see, there aren't crazy installations or loud colors because they ultimately wanted their wedding day to be a celebration with their guests as the focus and an experience that they could enjoy wholeheartedly.
I loved the invitation suite from Basic Invite that Lianne chose with the oh so simple rose gold detailing, touches of calligraphy, yet very modern and uniform. The bouquet (if you look closely enough) was wrapped with the pearl necklace from Lianne's grandmother which she wanted to incorporate as her Something Old. For the florals, she wanted an organic structure in blush and ivory with pops of burgundy florals (as seen in the scabiosa, dahlias, and ranunculus) and lots of eucalyptus varieties.
They're first look was very emotional to watch as they were both filled with excitement for the day ahead of them. Bobby wore a burgundy with black satin lapel suit from Friar Tux and a classic bow tie. Lianne's wedding dress is a gorgeous lace spaghetti strap Eddy K dress which she found at Lili Bridals in Tarzana.
Instead of the typical white, chiffon draping, Lianne opted for a blush drape to match the rose petals lining the aisle. The unplugged ceremony signed designed by Blushing Water Studio was the perfect touch to welcome their guests and inform them of their attention at their ceremony.
One of the most unique parts of the day was the wedding ceremony. Their officiant Marie with Let's Get Married by Marie worked with Lianne & Bobby to create a custom ceremony script that held deep meaning and connection to them. They even had a final rose ceremony to honor their love for the bachelor (which of course had us all in tears).
The reception took place in South Coast's Barrel Room near the Bell Tower. Their centerpieces were a mix of manzanita trees with a floral base and a low arrangement in a rose gold compote vase. They added additional rose gold touches in the chargers, candle votives, cake topper, and picture frames. The table numbers were made out of acrylic on a wood stand with white chalk paint by Blushing Water Studio.
The 3-tier cake by Laura Marie's Cakes looks classic on the outside but utterly delicious on the inside. Lianne & Bobby chose a vanilla cake with almond and strawberry compote and a blueberry compote with banana and toffee crunch. All of this is freshly made! Whoa!!
